Job Title: Product Packaging & Fulfillment Assistant

Based in: 71-73 Allen Road, Stoke Newington, N16 8RY and 47 Chalk Farm Rd, NW1 8AJ

Reports to: Production Team

Hours: Flexible: Full time and Part time available, generally between 8:00am-4pm Mondays to Fridays, occasional weekend work

Salary: £10.85 - £11.95 per hour

Job Purpose:

Following the rapid growth of our online store and demand from corporate clients, this role will support the bakery and production teams with the packaging of high volumes of e-commerce, cafe, wedding and corporate orders going out for delivery via DPD/DHL (letterbox goods), and taxis on a daily basis. You will be processing online orders, gift packaging, quality checking goods, customising products where required, responding to customer shipping enquiries and preparing the post for collection.

Necessary:

• Ability to work to deadlines and organise your workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail & proficient with technology (using scheduling & labelling software)
• A desire to be part of a fast-moving team and play your role in its success
• Ability to handle and lift items weighing between 0-50 pounds
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene & labelling requirements
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Key Job Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to own the process of packaging all baked goods that are leaving the bakery until delivery at final destination:

• Assembling the packaging for all products (e.g. Letterbox Brownies, Cookies & Cakes)
• Distributing bespoke Gift Cards or marketing materials within each product box - assuring the quality of experience for the end customer
• Using order scheduling software to ensure all Luminary products are correctly labelled and packaged in order that they reach their final destination with accurate information, looking beautiful and without any hiccups
• Supporting the bakery team with general duties that assist the smooth fulfillment of orders
• Booking taxis, and letterbox couriers (DPD/DHL etc) as per customer preference
• Ensuring all shipments reach their final destination smoothly and resolving any issues if they don’t
• Managing stock levels of different packaging requirements and organisation of packing/storage room to ensure easy access of items

The packing environment is not a warehouse, we are based in a private office where we dispatch our orders from.
