We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join the friendly team at our Tanfield site. The role is offered on a permanent basis.
The working hours
The shift pattern for the role is a 3-shift rotation, Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 / 14:00- 22:00 / 22:00- 06:00

As a Production Operator the main purpose of the role is to assist with the safe, efficient and quality operation of processing equipment, whilst helping to ensure all products are produced in line with both company and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within manufacturing or the food industry (highly desirable)
- Level 2 in Food Safety for Manufacturing (desirable, although bespoke training is provided)
- Completed training and be fully knowledgeable in the requirements of the production lines
- Good communication skills across shifts and interdepartmental areas
- Good knowledge of the different types of packing machines
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- The ability to take ownership and accountability
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Driven with a positive mind set
