Job Summary
This role is for a Production Operator to join a leading edge, precision manufacturing company. Responsible for the operation of a range of press, punch and forming tools in a specialist high/medium volume manufacturing area, the ideal candidate will be able to work to a set of strict instructions, will be able to maintain concentration on repetitive tasks and will be able to produce work to set targets. A flexible approach to working hours and good team-working skills are essential. The role includes:
Hours/Wage/Holidays: 40 hours per week, minimum wage, 33 days holiday per year (pro rata) including public holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties
The use of; Plate Jigs, Fly Press, Hare Press and Baltec Press to create parts to customer specification - high volume, repetitive tasks.
Packing (customer goods to bags and boxes) - high volume, repetitive task, good numerical skills required.
Qualifications and Skills
There is no requirement for previous experience as full training will be given. The ideal candidate will be; capable of maintaining focus whilst engaged in repetitive tasks, able to undertake light to moderate physical (upper body) tasks, keen to work in an engineering environment, and able to follow instructions accurately.
