Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a new role?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturing company who are experiencing significant growth at their site based in Port Talbot.

Hourly Rate: Up to £11.70 per hour, plus shift allowance

Location: Port Talbot

Hours of work: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, must be prepared to work a night shift if required (10pm - 6am)

Role responsibilities:

• Setting and operating a variety of machinery to include packaging machinery
• Conducting Changeovers
• Use of measuring equipment, record calibrations and measurements
• Monitor production to ensure maximum out put
• Work to standard operating procedures
• Work to the stringent Health and Safety procedures whilst ensuring quality standards are met

The successful candidate:

• A proven track record working in a Machine Operating role
• Previous experience setting and making adjustments on machinery in line with customer specifications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience working with tooling, conducting changeovers, diameters, measuring equipment
• Ability to work to written instructions and standard operating procedures
