Job type: Full-time permanent
Shift pattern: Monday-Wednesday 06:00-18:00, 12 hours every fourth Saturday
Job summary
From our Devon based factory we make fantastic British potato chips and snacks, carefully hand cooked in small batches by our master Fryers and seasoned to perfection. Our Production Operatives are therefore at the heart of what we do, working on the production line to create and package our delicious products.
The role will be suitable for someone with good practical skills, who works quickly and accurately, is a good team-worker and able to concentrate over long periods. Most importantly we are looking for somebody who is passionate about producing great quality products.
The role involves manual work and you will spend considerable periods of time standing while operating machinery. You will be required to wear protective clothing, such as overalls and safety shoes, which are provided for you.
As part of your role you will be required to carry out tasks in the Factory as required, operate the plant in accordance with stated procedure and ensure that production plans are met. You will be required to work with your colleagues to achieve our factory targets.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Basic numeracy and English Language skills and able to follow safety and hygiene instructions.
- Ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Good team working skills and willingness to work flexibly.
- Ability to follow instructions and awareness of health and safety procedures.
Desirable:
- Experience working in fast-paced environments like Food Manufacturing and FMCG.
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
