Job Details:
- An operative is required to join a production and manufacturing team, producing high quality, self-defence training equipment based in Farnworth, Bolton.
- You will be working within a small team, alongside experienced finishing and manufacturing staff.
- You will be trained on how to manufacture and finish our high quality products ready for clients.
- Initial duties include; preparation of work areas, and finishing of the product and packaging for transport. Full training will be provided in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Operatives will be expected to learn new skills and work to deadlines.
- Some aspects of the production process are physically demanding.
- The successful candidate will have to undergo a detailed security check.
Requirements:
- Practical ability and a general understanding of production processes.
- Common sense and a Keenness & willingness to learn.
- Punctuality, Reliability and commitment to a career based Job.
- To work well as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with a physically demanding job.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- A smart appearance.
- A good level of numeracy and literacy, in order to read technical drawings,
Ability to follow and complete specific instructions and make accurate calculations.
Experience: Wood working machinery and hand power tools would be beneficial:
Education: GCSE or equivalent (Required) Good Maths is essential.
Driving Licence (required).

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Overtime as required
37½ hours/week
3 month probation period.
