Job description
Purpose:
To manufacture, wrap and box products in accordance with specified work instructions and procedures whilst complying with food and health and safety regulations.
General Responsibilities
· Ensure that all issues or potential issues are reported to your Line Supervisor timely including Health and Safety issues.
· Ensure that food hygiene practices are being followed and that a ‘clean as you go’ policy is being implemented.
· Ensure that all tasks are completed as per work instructions and procedures.
· Ensure that all paperwork is completed timely and accurately and handed to your Line Supervisor.
· Follow company policies and procedures with regard to Food Safety, Health and Safety. Environmental and Product Quality
· Ensure product is manufactured, wrapped, labelled, packed and palletized with strict reference to product specification and photographic standards to ensure consistency and correctness.
· To achieve or exceed KPI targets as specified by your Line Supervisor. Targets will be delivered through a Personal Annual Development Review and progress reviewed six monthly.
· To actively be involved in and contribute to activities relating to continuous improvement.
The above mentioned duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be called upon to carry out such other appropriate duties as may be required by their Line Supervisor in line with the grading level of the post and the competence of the post holder.

Experience and Skills
· Ability to use own initiative and to work as part of a team.
· Experience of working well under pressure whilst displaying a positive target focused attitude.
· Good level of English and mathematical skills
· Be able to self-motivate and manage own time over a variety of tasks
· Understand of the importance of good personal and food hygiene
· Experience of working in a factory or warehouse environment.
· Exhibits flexibility with regard to working hours.
· Attention to detail and accurate in work manner.
Essential
· Experience of working in a food production and packing environment.
· Food Hygiene-Level 2 certificate
· Basic Health and Safety -Level 2 certificate.
· Experience of chocolate manufacture.
