FishingMatters is a family-owned Wincanton-based fishing tackle manufacturer / wholesaler / distributor. The company has been selling and marketing products into the UK, Europe, and North America for the past 90 years so has a strong brand and reputation.
As our business expands we require an outgoing, highly motivated team player with a natural ability to create / develop long-standing relationships with new and existing clients.
As a sales / administration assistant you will work within a tight team and act proactively with a key focus to service existing and new accounts and their orders. To succeed, you must have strong communication skills and ideally be experience in sales activity.
Requirements of Sales Administrator / Co-ordinator:
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
- Have good organization skills and able to work well with others in the team
- Understanding of Sage 50 Accounts Professional or similar software platform to generate invoices and manage stock (training provided)
- Familiar with shipping and delivery of products to customers (training provided)
- Good clerical skills to ensure sales invoices are correct
- Ability to prepare and processing order requests
- Keeping customers updated with relevant product information
- Monitoring the sales team’s progress and conducting periodic appraisals
What the job involves:
- Inventory updates and order preparation
- Packaging materials
- Preparation of client invoices
- Dispatch of customer orders by courier
- Invoice filing and reconciliation
- Update and maintenance of price lists
- Registration and opening of new client accounts
- Offering after-sales support to customers
Job Type - Part-time, Permanent
Salary - minimum wage with sales commission
