Job description
We require one full time person and one part time person to join our very busy ophthalmology department based at Denmark Hill. The department is across two floor and requires a strong, dynamic team to prepare clinics by printing clinic lists for nurses and doctors, printing outcome forms, scanning documents, sitting reception to check patients in and out, booking follow up appointments, recording any procedures which have taken place in the clinic and generally have a good helpful attitude putting our patients first. Weekend working is also required - which may mean a day off in the week to cover a Saturday or Sunday.
Reception duties
Checking patients details are updated on the system
Check patients in and out
Booking appointments
Recording procedures
Scanning documents
Prepping notes for clinic and surgery
Answering telephone calls for general enquiries and responding to emails

To provide a 7 day administrative service for the ophthalmology department at Denmark Hill. Telephones need to be manned full time. The clinics need to be prepped accordingly and Patients need to be our utmost priority. Full training will be provided.
