As a Production Operative, you will be trained to manufacture the contact lenses on multi-million pound semi-automated robotic machines. These machines are state of the art which have many different arms, sensors and lasers to ensure the accurate precision of the contact lenses. This is a busy, fast paced role in a clean room environment (full PPE is provided). As a Production Operative you will be fully trained to the highest standard in every aspect of the manufacturing process.

No formal qualifications are required, however a strong background in Manufacturing and Production is desirable.

Full PPE will be provided for you to wear as maximum cleanliness is imperative to ensure the pristine standards of the workplace.

Our client recognises the importance of a healthy work/home life balance, so for this reason their shift pattern is 4 on, 4 off and they are 12 hour shifts (rotating shift pattern). With this pattern essentially you are working six months of the year but with full pay!

Day shift is 7am-7pm = £12.74 per hour

Night shift is 7pm-7am = £14.78 per hour
