Production Operative Bolton, England
Job description
We are a well established E-liquid manufacturer based in Bolton, we a looking for an additional production operative to join our small, friendly, team to help produce the finest quality e-liquids in our facility.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Operating semi automatic and fully automatic machinery and equipment in the production process.
Monitoring the production process to identify any issues or defects in the products, and taking appropriate action to rectify these issues.
Conducting quality checks on products to ensure that they meet the required specifications and standards.
Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
Maintaining accurate records of production data, including the number of units produced, any defects or issues identified, and any downtime or delays in the production process.
Cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
Working with other members of the production team to ensure that production targets are met and that deadlines are achieved.
Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to report on production progress and any issues that may arise.
Participating in training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills related to the production process.
To conduct regular stock taking activities ensuring that stock levels are maintained

Key Skills required for this role include:-
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or issues in products.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications and be computer literate.
Education
English and Maths qualifications to GCSE level are required for this role.
