Job Requirements:
Operating the Rontex machine as part of the overall process of manufacturing needlefelt to the required customer specifications, .
Based at our Bury Location (Warth Business Centre)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production and quality of all products manufactured on his/her equipment.
- Ensure equipment is set to correct manufacturing specification as detailed in the production folder
- Ensure that the correct material is being processed as detailed on the process card
- To undertake training with a view to be able to rotate between the relevant operations as required
- Responsible for the documentation of all production and quality data
- Supports and follows company policies, procedures, work instructions, including the Quality Management System.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping - organize and clean work area daily to ensure work area is efficient and safe.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Understand manufacturing specifications and instructions
- Basic IT skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
- Attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions and product specifications.
