Job Description
Reporting directly into the Operational MD, the Production Operations Manager will have overall accountability for manufacturing, HSE, quality and customer service. Other day to day responsibilities will include:
- Controlling production schedules alongside Sales and Planning to ensure efficient manufacturing operations
- Overseeing quality non-conformances with the Quality Manager and putting proactive plans in place to rectify any issues
- Organising machine downtimes and liaising with maintenance and contractors
- Ensuring all manufacturing operations are carried out safely and effectively
- Providing relevant training and upskilling of production teams to allow cross-training and matrix-skilled employees

Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability in leading and developing teams. You will also have:

- Solutions driven approach and hands-on manager
- Experience in a metal manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential
