Growers & suppliers of fresh produce to major UK supermarkets, our clients are known for their friendly culture. As a result of continued growth, we are seeking a motivational people manager with previous Packhouse experience.
Leading and managing all aspects of production areas, ensuring effective delivery of quality, service and cost optimisation, you will be a confident, strong character with the ability to inspire, leading by example and from the front.
Working with key stakeholders, developing and training your team to consistently improve business and individual performances, you will have both passion for the fresh sector and the gravitas expected of a superb people manager.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership includes;
- KPI's
- Effective daily operations and efficiency
- Wastage, Environmental policies
- Labour productivity, recruitment, training & development
- Review and analysis of quality and technical standards
- Health & Safety, Wellbeing & Hygiene
Required experience;
- Demonstrable, strong leader & communicator who adopts a collaborative approach working with teams in an operationally intense environment
- Experience of effective planning & scheduling in high throughput, short shelf life
- Knowledge and practical experience of developing and operating Lean techniques
- Commercial and financial awareness, analytical and data driven to effect CI's
