Production Supervisor
Our client a hugely successful manufacturing engineering company are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. As Production Supervisor you will play a vital role within the company’s production team in ensuring targets are met and customer orders are being completed to the highest quality and finished on time.
The Role
· Planning, organising and prioritizing workload to ensure production targets are being met
· Ensuring products are being completed in line with company quality specifications
· Liaising with both stores and procurement team to ensure parts, materials and components are available
· Managing team of fitters and production operatives
· Monitoring production costs to ensure targets are being met on time, within budget and up to company standard
· Delegating work to team and ensure work orders are being completed
· Attend production meetings to provide update or orders and update team on any issues
· Ensure team is following company’s health and safety guidelines
· Assist with completion of Annual Performance Reviews with team members.
· Assist with training of operatives to the desired standard
Essential Criteria
· At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to lead and manage a team
· Experience in stock managing
· Confident in working to deadlines
