We are looking for our next water loving Production Manager who relishes in taking full accountability for their production site and the development of their team.
We are looking for an experienced People Manager who will bring out the best of their team and develop and guide them during their careers. We are not looking for Water Industry experts but a true leader with a passion for developing and mentoring their teams that will drive our culture and values, putting people at the heart of your decision making.
What will you be doing?
Health & Safety – Taking a safety first approach for our people and sites.
Our People – Training, coaching and developing your team with key areas on retention and motivation whilst driving performance for the area.
Collaboration – With other managers in the development and implementation of long term strategic goals, operational plans and performance.
Ownership – of your production area, liaising cross functionality to ensure production targets are met.
Day to day you’ll be…

Develop, manage and lead a team people providing high levels of safety and service
- Reporting on performance and identify areas of improvement for Production activities relating to the area the post is accountable for.
- Accountable for the end-to-end process, identifying/ mitigating risk, oversight of repairs and ensuring minimal disruption to customers, prevention of complaints.
- Accountable for the Health & Safety of all employees and contractors under their control.
- Provide technical guidance and support on production activities.
- Collaborate with Asset planning to identify asset risks and participate in their prioritisation and optimisation of spend.
- Work in collaboration with all other elements of the business to drive continuous improvement, an increase in efficiency and reduction in costs in line with company requirements.
- Identify opportunities to continually improve team productivity through team engagement in the field Management of the operational interface between Production and all internal/external stakeholders with respect to Production and technical matters.

What we’re looking for...*
A successful candidate will be able to provide operational guidance, support and give direction to the O&M team.
Be able to manage key stakeholders internal and external to help deliver wholesome potable water to our 1.2 million customers.
We are looking for a strong people manager who can guide and support an operational team. Ideally someone with experience in operations from a manufacturing environment.
