An exciting new job has arisen for a Production Manager, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Join our clients innovative and dynamic team as a Production Manager, overseeing all manufacturing processes and operations in a low volume, high mix electronics design and manufacturing company. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a shop floor plan, converting sales requirements into an efficient production plan.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Lead and manage the production team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
- Assure product quality by adhering to quality management systems, procedures, and processes.
Essential Requirements:
- Management experience in a low volume, high mix product assembly environment, preferably in electronics assembly.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP principles, BOM structures, works orders, and materials management.
- Experience implementing engineering change requests in a fast-paced production environment.
