Production Manager- St Ives, Cambridgeshire

An exciting new job has arisen for a Production Manager, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Join our clients innovative and dynamic team as a Production Manager, overseeing all manufacturing processes and operations in a low volume, high mix electronics design and manufacturing company. Make a significant impact in a full-time, permanent role that offers a range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a shop floor plan, converting sales requirements into an efficient production plan.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Lead and manage the production team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence.
• Assure product quality by adhering to quality management systems, procedures, and processes.

Essential Requirements:

• Management experience in a low volume, high mix product assembly environment, preferably in electronics assembly.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP principles, BOM structures, works orders, and materials management.
• Experience implementing engineering change requests in a fast-paced production environment.
