In response to market growth, we are building our largest Plant yet and Peterborough will be its home. The Peterborough Plant will be a key site within the Bevcan EMEA Business. Crown Peterborough will benefit from state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and modern practices to support high-speed and highly automated beverage can making capable of producing 3 billion cans per annum. The Plant will operate 24 hours per day on a continuous shift system, 360 days per annum and will employ approximately 280 people.

About these Opportunities
As the new Crown Plant in Peterborough nears completion, we are looking for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our Maintenance Teams.
The following positions are available now:
Role: Maintenance Engineers - Days
Qualifications Skills & Experience
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification gained through an apprenticeship / practical learning course
- Relevant experience in preventative maintenance as well as faultfinding and repairs for industrial equipment
- Full training in the maintenance of can-making equipment and our production process will be provided
Salary £40,086
Shift Details & Perks
Day shifts on a bi-weekly pattern
Week 1 Mon Fri 6am - 2pm
Week 2 Mon Fri 10am - 6pm
25 flexible holiday days, weekends and evenings off

Role: Electrical Engineers - Shift
Qualifications Skills and Experience
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification gained through an apprenticeship / practical learning course
- Relevant experience ideally in a production manufacturing environment including faultfinding and electrical repairs for industrial equipment
- Full training in the electrical maintenance and repair of can-making equipment and our production process will be provided
Salary £51,247
Shift Details & Perks
Continental Based Shift Rota attending 2 x 12hour days followed by 2 x 12hour nights then 4 days off After a pattern of five of these shifts you have 14 days off and we also give you 18 days off in the summer
This equates to 144 rostered shifts per year and an outstanding work/life balance!
NB: Holiday allowance is planned into the shift pattern
