AGF is part of the Cathay Investments Group and we are looking for a Import and Export Coordinator to join our team at our office in Croydon.

We are looking for an Import and Export Coordinator to join our expanding freight forwarding business. You will be handling freight forwarding shipments operationally working on both Air & Ocean. This is a full time postiion Monday to Friday in our Croydon office.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinating jobs from start to finish, Air sea and road freight with a majority focus on ocean imports
• Liaising with clients, overseas partners, and suppliers to arrange quick dispatch of cargo
• To clearly understand the demands of shipping hazardous goods via ocean whilst generating the relevant paperwork for consignments of this nature
• Ensure timely bookings of ocean freight forwarding on customer's behalf
• Prepare documentation including data entry in accordance to the Countries requirements
• Ongoing communication with customers within the UK and overseas offices regarding the movement of shipments
• Preparation of certificates of origin, cargo manifest, customs clearance documentation, hazardous material and any other documentation required for the processing of goods internationally
• Prepare documentation and implementation in to our internal system (BoxTop & Sequoia)
• Raise spot quotations, and customer invoicing

Import and Export Coordinator requirements:

• Having a minimum of 2 years' experience is essential
• Team Player with a collaborative approach and willing to share expertise
• Strong commercial focus and acumen with strong influencing skills
• Highly proactive self-starter with a high level of self-initiative
• Experience in Air freight and Dangerous Goods is highly desirable

As an Import and Export Coordinator this role will be based 100% in the office
