Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.

You can help West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service by providing a comprehensive office administration service to the Corporate Services department.
You will be responsible for office administration within the Corporate Services department, creating databases, producing, and maintaining accurate data using Excel, Access and SharePoint. You will support the provision of information on the Corporate Services intranet site. You will produce management information reports, deal with compliments and complaints, provide advice and guidance on relevant policies, and provide administrative assistance for meetings. You will monitor budget expenditure and raise requests for payments and receipt of invoices.
You will have experience of various IT systems and databases, have extensive administrative experience along with experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You will be numerate and literate, be qualified to OCR Text Processing Level 3 or equivalent or have the skills and ability to achieve this. You will have good organisational skills, be able to work flexibly, use initiative and organise your workload, with a good level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you will work both in the office and from home as part of our 'hybrid' working model. Therefore, applicants must a reliable home internet connection.
