Summary:
2D Action-Adventure/Fantasy project looking for a Motion Capture Production Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Review all written and visual material to create shot list for mocap sessions.
Coordinate MoCap Studio, Talent and Show Leadership for MoCap stage sessions.
Be on set for every session and point-person between stage and production office.
Handle catering orders and food pick up for MoCap sessions.
Limited camera operation as needed.
Mark circle takes during MoCap sessions and ensure all shots completed.
Track captured MoCap data and video reference is delivered and labeled correctly. Organize files to the server and work closely with MoCap TD to deliver usable scenes for storyboard reference.
Ensure MoCap reference is provided to storyboard teams in timely way and assist episodic production teams with episode shipment prep to vendor studio.
Obtain any necessary approvals or direction from show leadership as needed.
Participate in pre-production meetings. Flag potential problems and delays to Line Producer/Associate Producer.
Research previous captured footage for reuse.
Train and supervise Production Assistant.
Work with Media Coordinator to archive MoCap related files.
Read and respond to production e-mails in a timely manner.
Assist with special projects and episodic production team as needed.
Various duties assigned by Line Producer/Associate Producer/MoCap TD.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, familiarity with internet and email.
Shotgrid, Photoshop, Motion Builder, Blender/Unreal, animated series production knowledge a plus.
Experience working with MoCap and on set is desired.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective under high pressure. Able to stay level-headed, quick thinking and amiable is ideal.
Detail-oriented self-starter with reliable follow-through and problem-solving skills, good organization and positive attitude in taking on wide range of tasks as assigned.
Good time management skills; good multi-tasker and attention to detail is key.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $850.0 - 950.0.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
