Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a reliable and self-motivated Production Coordinator to join a market-leading manufacturing business based in Middleton (M24).   • Location: Middleton
  • Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, & 8.30am – 4.30pm Fridays

As the Production Coordinator, your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Maintaining the production schedule and ensuring all information is both accurate and up to date
  • Communicating changes on the schedule to the affected teams
  • Inputting sales orders for rail clients and ad hoc jobs
  • Issuing jobs to the production team
  • Adding BIL jobs to the schedule
  • Order filling
  • Communicating any product changes or delays with clients
  • Liaising with procurement team regarding any bought in items for orders
  • Liaising with accounts in relation to invoice queries
  • Conducting end of month/projection reporting
  • Preparing job files for despatch
  • Managing lead times emails
  • Managing rail production jobs

The required traits, skills, and background to be considered for this Office Administrator role are:

  • An understanding of the Manufacturing industry is essential
  • Previous experience of managing a production/manufacturing schedule would be desirable but is not essential
  • The ability to liaise with all levels within the business
  • A strong level of IT knowledge
  • Effective time management skills
  • Comfortability with maintaining and developing client relations
