The team


ITV Sport produces some of the biggest sporting events on the calendar such as the Men’s and Women’s FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Six Nations Championship, England Women’s Football Internationals, Snooker, Darts, Motor Sport and the best of UK Horse Racing, including The Grand National, Cheltenham Festival and The Derby. Our talented team of Programme Editors, Studio Directors, Producers, Technical teams, and Production Managements team are committed to delivering high-quality content for our viewers.


The role


You will play a key role in the production team where you will work in partnership with Production Management/ Producers to deliver outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform and commercially successful content within operational, financial and legal constraints.

You will support the Production Manager in developing and managing production schedules, coordinating logistics, processing purchase orders & expenses, coordinating with external suppliers, overseeing the setup of production facilities, communicating with talent and production staff, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during production. Ultimately, your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality sports programming at ITV Sport.

  • Please note that due to live production time, you may be required to work unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays. There is also a requirement to work internationally as part of this role.


Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)


  • Strong organisational flair and financial acumen with a proactive and solution-focussed approach to problem-solving.
  • Outside broadcast experience within a busy and live production environment with a passion for sport.
  • Ability to use initiative and be proactive in the production environment showing sensitivity to the needs and pressures of colleagues.
