T*he Role*Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team leader at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.
The role of the warehouse team leader is to provide a visible point of contact within the stores/warehouse for all staff. To work with services supervisor to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and if that the operation makes the most efficient use of it resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Spend around 1 hour on the shop floor being a visible presence working alongside operatives
- Carry out daily and weekly briefings
- Manage the warehouse operation proactively, ensuring all aspects of pick ,put away and replenish ,meet the required targets
- Ensure that all put away and despatch is carried out correctly and that all FLT drivers are aware of stock process and procedures
- Ensure that all staff have development plans and that regular coaching sessions are undertaken
What you will need for the role/ what it will take
- GCSE grade C and above
- NVQ level 2 or above desirable
- Experience n a supervisory role within warehouse
