Role Summary:

The Commercial Banking International Service & Onboarding (CBISO) group is responsible for driving and coordinating all aspects of the setup of cash management products and services for Commercial Bank clients expanding to Global locations in EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions.

The International Client Implementations team is responsible for driving and coordinating all aspects of the setup of custom Treasury and Banking services to ensure a best-in-class experience with our clients. Lead a team of Project Managers that provide support for the implementation of Treasury and Banking products and services. Gather and provide data and feedback to internal business partners and ensure project management tools are developed and published. Assist in the training and roll out of the product to the clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team operates effectively by adhering to implementation methodology and policies
  • Manage client and partner expectations and understanding
  • Exhibit ownership of on-boarding experience and client satisfaction
  • Maintain a client first culture among the team through open dialogue, encouragement of feedback and attracting and/or retaining superior talent
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations and Product Management
  • Foster a culture of teamwork with partners and within the Implementation team
  • Develop, scope and execute on internal initiatives as assigned
  • Work with partners in Operations and Product Management to streamline processes
  • Utilize management reports and metrics to ensure success in meeting the team’s objectives
  • Oversee employee team adherence to policy and procedures
  • Diligent awareness of business risk and ownership of issues when they arise
  • Manage team capacity and proactively manage expenses
  • Some Travel required (20%) to visit clients and internal partners

Ultimately, you’ll be expected to lead, grow and develop a Client Onboarding Team

This includes:

  • Deliver on the firm’s initiatives through coordinated initiatives and processes which support business plans
  • Communicate and leverage business knowledge with technical expertise to challenge assumptions around operating models
  • Manage team performance through coaching and development of individuals
  • Build relationships across the organization which promote a client centric organization
  • Work closely with product teams to lead successful pilot rollouts
  • Stay up to date with the launch of new digital and mixed payable products. Take an active role in insuring core team is trained and educated on the implementation process.
  • Support client escalations effectively with a clear path to resolution
  • Manage internal partner expectations with a continued drive to exceed expectations

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Services and/or Custom Card
  • Bachelor of Arts /Bachelor of Science degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring employees and proven ability to successfully manage conflict
  • Experience in risk awareness and skills to develop and ensure quality program set ups
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage conflict
  • Demonstrated team building skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Experienced in managing conflict and adapting to change

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • MBA
  • Knowledge of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment framework and testing
  • Ability to provide quantifiable management reporting
  • Previous management experience
