JOB DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF WORK
Strange things are happening in Toronto! Guests will soon be unlocking their power, and we need your help.
We’re staffing for Stranger Things: The Experience, where guests are swept into the world of the show and confronted head-on with the nefarious Hawkins Lab and other supernatural elements of the Stranger Things universe. Guests will partake in an evening of demogorgon sightings, interactive experiences, and scripted performances and will join us for food, dessert and delicious cocktails all inspired by Stranger Things. Your favorite characters will come to life throughout The Experience to relive much-loved moments of the hit series.
We’re looking for a team of individuals who are passionate, hardworking, creative, observant, and energetic to become the guests main point of contact across multiple areas of the experience.
OPERATORS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of HIGH VOLUME guest interactions, safety and overall guest experience
- Ensure smooth transitions and EFFECTIVE communication between back of house and front of house OPERATING CREW
- Experience and knowledge of live event production and/or tv-film production, theme park attraction experience a plus
- Monitor / Control guest flow as they transition between each experience
- Preset / Reset of items and/or special effects within each of the immersive rooms
- Comfortable with using tech (tablets) to initiate cues for actors/guests to react to
- Understanding of event flows and batched ticket flows
- Answer general Guest questions and assist with queuing;
- Swiftly and efficiently handle any emergency situations to ensure the safety of guests;
- Be able to handle challenging situations while performing multiple tasks at one time;
- Support cleaning work areas and guest areas;
- Must be comfortable working in an immersive environment with music flashing lights and special effects
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience

- Location: Cinespace Marine Terminal Studio, 8 Unwin Avenue, Toronto, M5A 3L1, Canada
- Project Dates:
○ Training/Rehearsals starting March 18th
○ Open to Public: March 31st
○ Conclusion: August 20th
- Pay: CAD 18.00/hr
- Part-Time positions available for the duration of the experience
- Must be available for multiple days of training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above)
