Reporting to the BFS Project & Production Manager, and working within a team of subject specialist production staff, you will support and assist in the successful delivery of screen productions and initiatives under the BFS Funding Futures platform in addition to course and school film productions. At times this will require working in collaboration with external industry partners, alumni, course and professional service colleagues.
Key duties of this post will include supporting the Production Office with their delivery of seminars and group sessions provided to students on new and existing film production management processes and sign off requirements for shoots. Duties also include ensuring processes are followed to maintain health, safety and welfare, under the supervision of the Production Officer and Production Managers; and providing effective and reactive production support throughout the working day.
There’s a key requirement to assist the BFS Project and Production Manager in the planning and delivery of internal and external-facing school projects, screen productions and initiatives. Predominantly this will consist of the annual Alumni Short Film Fund and growing range of additional projects, funds and schemes via BFS Funding Futures platform.
Educated to at least degree level you will have practical experience of production co-ordination, and an understanding of good health and safety working practices. It is also desirable that you will be in possession of a full UK/EU driving licence.
