ROLE SUMMARY
Venari Group Ltd is the largest and fastest growing emergency vehicle manufacturer in the UK, specialising in the conversion of Ambulances and Fire Appliances. Employing 120 people across our 160,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space in Goole, Brighouse, and Dagenham, we are revolutionising our industry and making a real difference to our frontline key workers.
We are now continuing in our next phase of growth and are currently looking for the role of Production Assembler at our Brighouse site.
JOB SUMMARY
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read, understand and follow technical drawing and specification sheets
- Use of hand tools to a high level of skill
- Use of cutting equipment
- Used to cutting, drilling and riveting
- Installing panels and lining
- Installing of seats
- Sealing
- Identify areas of possible improvement
- Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
- Responsible for good housekeeping, cleanliness and high standards in own area.
- Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully.
- Assist the Company in caring for the environment by disposing of waste products carefully.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience
- Product knowledge of vehicle conversions is preferrable
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be flexible and reliable
- Must have good time keeping
- Must take a pride in their work and ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Attention to detail
- Experience and/or knowledge of a manufacturing environment is preferrable
The hours for this role are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday / 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Friday. This is based on 41.5 hours per week.
