Role responsibilities
We have two 6 month Secondment opportunities to join our Driver Team Managers, who lead and inspire a team of train drivers at Cardiff (Mainline).
The role is interesting and varied:
- The role demands strong people management focus
- Excellent communication skills to ensure your team are highly motivated to deliver an excellent service for our business and to our customers
- Strong focus on ensuring the highest safety and performance standards are maintained thorough engagement and encouragement of your team
- Working as part of a close team of driver managers and also work closely with other managers across the business such as Performance, Safety, Customer Service and HR, and manage the relationships with key stakeholders such as Network Rail
The successful candidate
If you are a highly customer focussed individual who ensures they are at the root of all decisions you make, this may be the job for you. The successful person will have the opportunity to play a key role in the reshaping of the driver function moving forward.
Essential requirements to be considered for this role:
You must be a Qualified Train Driver with at least 3 years' experience.
