A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Proposition Manager as part of a close-knit team responsible for Personal Banking Product Propositions within Santander Retail Bank. It’s a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing opportunities to shape and deliver some of the most strategic priorities of the Bank, so it’s a great time to join and make a difference.
This position has responsibility for developing and managing customer propositions and strategies related to personal current accounts. It is a commercially orientated role with a strong emphasis on creating good outcomes for customers and the Bank.
The difference you’ll make.
Managing banking product propositions, strategies, and initiatives, leading where required whilst ensuring regulatory compliance and executing robust risk identification, reporting and management.
Collaborating significantly with stakeholders across the bank, agreeing clear ownership of actions and tracking through to completion.
Driving key initiatives through to delivery, facilitating working groups, preparing reports, and presenting to senior management and meetings, as appropriate.
Analysing product, market, risk, and economic data to inform business decisions.
Managing budget, project funding requirements and business case approval and making decisions within the limits of established policies and procedural guidelines escalating where appropriate.
Engaging, motivating, and developing a talented and diverse team.
What you’ll bring.
Communication and influencing skills with strong stakeholder management at all levels. Supported by commercial understanding and ability to analyse information and data.
Being able to translate commercial, market and customer analysis/ research into insight and business cases that are clear and compelling.
It would also be nice for you to have.
A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
Financial services experience
Experience in Prioritisation and People management.
What else you need to know.
This role is based in Milton Keynes. Most of the team are part-home working, and there will be some travel required to other Santander sites.
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft teams.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
