Amazon UK is seeking a smart, organised, results-oriented individual for the role of Product PR Manager, Devices and Services (D&S). This exciting role has responsibility for managing PR for Amazon Echo, Fire TV, Alexa, Kindle, Fire Tablets, and Kids+, with a focus on managing communications for go-to-market (GTM) product and features announcements, and product momentum campaigns. This person needs to be passionate about consumer tech products, be highly organised, have high level judgement, and be able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders around the business.

This role sits within the International PR team for D&S, with a specific focus on UK and Ireland. This person will work alongside the Consumer and Influencer lead for D&S UK and Ireland, and report into the Head of PR for D&S UK & Ireland. The role is based out of Amazon’s UK Corporate Head Office in Shoreditch, London, and hybrid working (mixture of at home and office days) can be agreed.

Key job responsibilities
  • Managing an external PR agency to develop and implement detailed and complex PR plans for hardware and software announcements
  • Working with business and PR teams cross-markets (Europe/USA/Rest of World)
  • Working with the Trust & Reputation PR team to manage issues
  • Providing PR counsel to GTM teams and helping navigate complex product and feature launches
  • Managing the creation and approval of media materials
  • Responding to media enquiries about products
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media contacts
  • Successfully tackling complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges
  • Budget management
  • Delivering clear, results-focused reports linked back to objectives
