Our team works with the markets to monitor and drive improvements to their Web and MyVodafone app offerings, using a suite of digital marketing tools to provide an enabling framework from which markets can monitor their customer experience and identify areas for improvements. We are now looking for an Adobe Analytics technical product owner to enhance our team and help us evolve our digital offerings to better serve our customers.


The Adobe Analytics Technical Product Owner (TPO) plays a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and broadening the application of Adobe Analytics. The TPO works intimately with various teams within the organization, as well as with local markets, providing technical support and enhancing the adoption of Adobe Analytics features and functionalities.


Working with both technical and commercial teams, the role has accountability for;


  • Manage the Adobe Analytics platform by enabling new initiative and supporting the markets using the demand board. Monitor platform health and usage metrics, reporting any issues or areas of improvement to relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Engage in regular communication with various teams within the organization, Group Digital team, local markets, and external partners to understand their needs and concerns and facilitate the use of Adobe Analytics.
  • Experiment with and promote new features and functionalities offered by Adobe Analytics. Document the outcomes of these experiments and develop an implementation plan to increase their adoption within the organization.
  • Lead training sessions to educate staff members about Adobe Analytics and its capabilities. Develop and distribute educational materials and follow-up resources to ensure comprehension and application.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to the Commercial Product Owner and local markets as needed. This includes data interpretation, strategic decision-making support, and updating relevant documents (e.g., SDR, UDL).

Job Responsibility


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:


  • User Access management – UAM Admin Console
  • Solution Design Reference – SDR
  • Marketing Channels, rules and classification configuration and validation
  • Reporting suite creation and configuration
  • Gathering the business requirements
  • Setup Adobe Analytics Tag with Tealium client or server-side
  • Managing the security risk register (privacy and security compliance)
  • Validation of the Adobe Analytics setup (Cloud Debugger)
  • Validation of the data collected with Adobe Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics Developer Console for API connections


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:


  • Agile mindset and practices – experienced in working in an agile delivery environment, preferably experience and understanding of SAFe.
  • Understanding of the digital channels platform and the wide omnichannel strategy to drive decisions on best placement to deliver most value
  • Ability to establish influential, trust based relationships across Commercial and Technology teams, developing a detailed understanding of business and technical strategies
  • Hands-on experience working with Marcheting technology platform such as Tealium, CDP, One Trust
  • Knowledge of web KPI metrics, user journey analysis, Tagging and personalization
  • Numerical and analytical mindset
  • Stakeholders management experience
  • Proactivity in finding solutions to various issues
  • Courage of trying new things
  • Curiosity of discovering new things
  • Humility of learning from other team members


Must have technical / professional qualifications:


  • Experience in digital Marketing technology
  • Experience ofWeb or Mobile App design and development
  • Experience of working with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Product owner experience : defining product purpose, owning and priositising product backlog, and overseeing delivery through diverse delivery functions.

  • Release cadence and delivery to time and quality needs
  • Agile squad delivery KPI’s [ensuring cadence of delivery squads, alignment to priority]
