Product marketing at Employ helps to tell the story of creating human connection at the center of offering best-in-class TA solutions across any industry, company size, geography, and hiring goal. You write the story that helps recruiters and their teams understand how Employ can help them become the heroes they already are. As a result of your work, you will be at the forefront of impacting people from all over, generating opportunities for conversation, discovery, meaning, and culture.
What you'll do:
- Become a market expert in talent acquisition platforms, including ATS, CRM, Data and Analytics, and Onboarding.
- Understand our product roadmaps across multiple product lines to facilitate strengths and opportunities.
- Be the primary product marketing contact for competitive positioning and work cross-functionally to share information. Be the voice of competitive intelligence for the entire marketing team.
- Conduct ongoing in-depth research on key competitors' product functionality and messaging, serve as a major input for go-to-market strategy and product capabilities by using a number of different sources, including win/loss reports, secondary research (analyst reports, webinars, PR, etc.), and publicly available information.
- Serve and organize the information within Highspot and Confluence.
- Partner with our enablement team to educate the GTM teams (Sales, Customer Success, Account Managers, and Marketing) to drive our win rate.
- Develop and maintain competitive landscape content, including website pages, presentations, demos, and other assets to drive conversion and pipeline growth.
- Support the delivery of a regular cadence of company-wide briefings and department-specific updates (Company all hands, Product Summits, ELT, Sales Kickoff, Sales & Success Training) to deliver competitive insights.
- Document and demonstrate Employ's value in analyst market research reports.
- Support the development of customer case studies and webinars that help demonstrate Employ's value for our customers.
What you'll bring:
- 3 years of marketing experience, preference 1-year competitive intelligence, market intelligence, sales, and/or pre-sales experience.
- Preferred, Experience working in SaaS, HR solutions, or working with HR as a buyer.
- Preferred experience in market research and quantitative analysis, including building models and scenario planning.
- Technical proficiency and curiosity. You enjoy getting into the details of software products.
- Able to distill large amounts of information into compelling stories and presentations.
- Excellent written and presentation skills. This role demands someone gifted in communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including product management, sales, comms, and marketing.
- Comfortable making pitches in front of live audiences.
- Experience driving strategic programs across the business.
- Highly organized
- Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative HR solution company with the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate unforeseen obstacles gracefully
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
