Ads form the core of Meta’s business, and serve as a way to meaningfully connect people and businesses. The Core Ads Quality team aims to understand what makes good ads good and what makes bad ads bad, leveraging ad, advertiser, and user feedback signals to ensure people get a high quality ads experience.Specifically, we are looking for someone to lead our long term user modelling effort. This team will use a combination of existing and new ads signals to understand how ads we show someone today impact their long term engagement with our products and ads. It is expected that this team will materially impact Meta's long-term revenue.

- Lead the Core Ads Quality - Long Term User Modelling Team
- Set long-term product strategy and half-over-half roadmaps for the team
- Own direction, goals, metrics, and results for the team
- Will be responsible for deeply understanding the impact of ads on long term user engagement and long term revenue. Develop testable hypotheses, help design experiments, and iteratively work to launch algorithmic changes that reduce the negative impact of low quality ads on our platform
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working with machine learning / AI products - ranking, retrieval, search, auctions, and/or other algorithmic systems
- Experience working in a technical environment with a broad cross functional team to synthesize data, generate hypotheses, analyze experiments, set direction and motivate a team
- Experience delivering technical presentations to peers, partner teams, and senior executives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ad tech, consumer behaviour, and long term experiments
