A Brief Overview
The Product Manager will research, design and drive the development of product solutions to support the needs of TriNet clients, work site employees, and colleagues. This includes responsibility for developing product and go-to-market strategies, conducting market research, generating product requirements; managing roadmaps, and working closely with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive implementation. Responsible for identifying and documenting product and business requirements via a product roadmap and taking them from concept to production. Will work with a broad set of stakeholders that include Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Business, Legal, Design, Engineering and others.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accurately document user needs.
  • Work with product leadership to identify key outcomes and success measures as an input to the overall product strategy
  • Own features from conception to launch, working with our design, engineering, and QA teams to deliver improvements to our product
  • Ensure consistent quality results leveraging data analytics, research, product reviews, user feedback and product testing across all end user features
  • Continuously groom and prioritize the product backlog with clearly articulated benefits, while keeping orderly and handling ongoing feature and bug requests.
  • Ensure clear and concise documentation of planned features as epics and user stories
  • Participate as active member of scrum team and in all agile ceremonies
  • Support product rollout and go-to-market activities, including org readiness, sales enablement, client and market facing artifacts and activities.
  • Continuously conduct market research and competitive sensing

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 2+ years Experience in Product roles such as Product Manager, Solution Architect, or Business Analyst preferred
  • Typically 2+ years Demonstrated experience in transforming business requirements into technical solutions that drive value preferred
  • Typically 1+ years Domain experience preferred in Payments or Expense Management

Skills and Abilities

  • Understands Agile development methodologies, like Scrum (Basic proficiency)
  • Strong product sense and actively seeks to understand needs, challenges, expectations, and industry landscape (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Uses process and metrics-driven product management approach (Basic proficiency)
  • Ability to connect with, build trust, and influence colleagues and customers at all levels of the organization (Basic proficiency)
  • Ability to manage projects and facilitate team interactions effectively. (Basic proficiency)
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities (Basic proficiency)
  • Proactive interpersonal skills that allow for effective engagement and working collaboratively with cross functional teams (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Excellent communication, written, organizational and presentation skills (Intermediate proficiency)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate proficiency)

The salary range for this role is $73,800 to $132,840. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
