Our head offices are in Wimborne where you will be primarily based. As a growing Trust, we are expanding our central team who work to provide day to day support to all of our schools through functions such as HR, Finance, IT and Data management.
About the role
Working under the guidance of the IT and Deputy IT Manager, and as part of our central IT support team, great communication skills are equally as important as good technical skills in this role.
The successful candidate will provide first line support to ensure that our staff and pupils can access and use their technology effectively, and ideally will already have at least 1 year’s experience of working in front line IT support; be able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and understand the importance of excellent service delivery.
And Day to Day?... You will be:
- Working closely with the IT team to deliver excellent IT service delivery to the Trust
- Providing first line IT support to users who have raised logs through the IT helpdesk, ensuring customers are kept regularly updated
- Establishing and maintaining user accounts for staff and pupils
- Providing first line maintenance of equipment to ensure all ICT equipment operates effectively, and reporting faults for resolution as needed.
- Supporting staff in the use of IT and AV equipment
- Security marking and logging new equipment
- Providing great customer service to our staff and pupils

Keeping Children Safe in Education
We will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children.
