An exciting development opportunity has arisen to appoint a Principal Accountant within our Accountancy team. This post will give the successful candidate invaluable experience across the board of technical accounting and give the opportunity for them to lead the council’s treasury management team.
You will need relevant IT skills together with the ability to solve complex problems, have an analytical nature which contributes to the delivery of a high-quality service within the accountancy team. Ideally you will be CCAB qualified but not essential, as AAT qualified or equivalent accountants with relevant experience will be considered.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals with relevant technical accountancy knowledge. You should be an excellent communicator who is confident dealing with all colleagues across the Council. Experience in Treasury Management is desirable but not essential.
