Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in defining our product positioning, creating effective marketing strategies, and driving the success of our products in the marketplace. This individual will work closely with our Marketing, Product and Sales to achieve the following:|
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Plan and execute product launches, working closely with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure a successful rollout and accurate tracking of launch effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling product messaging and positioning that highlights the unique value proposition of our offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify target segments, market trends, and competitive landscape, using this information to inform product and marketing decisions.
- Develop and maintain product collateral, including sales presentations, product datasheets, case studies, and other materials that effectively communicate our product value.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and marketing campaign effectiveness, using data to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our products, providing support and training to internal teams as needed.
- Manage relationships with key industry analysts, including IDC, Forrester, and Gartner, ensuring that Redstor is well-represented and well-positioned in their research.
- Establish and manage a consistent communication cadence between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging across the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or data management industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies and product launches.
- Strong understanding of the backup and recovery and cloud markets, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, with experience in using data and metrics to inform decision-making.
- Experience working in a SaaS business is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
