About This Opportunity
Our Lending Products team have ownership of Revolving and Term lending within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), where the team acts as a Centre of Excellence for product management, product control and product development.
We're accountable for robust risk and product management, for setting and controlling the Lending journey via Lending Roadmap, and responsible for the financial performance of our products. Our team is passionate about delivering commercial, propositional and operational improvements, and driving positive financial outcomes. We want to improve the Lending sales and delivery process across CIB, to benefit our clients, colleagues and shareholders.
The activities of the job are wide ranging, often project based, but will typically include:
Supporting the Continuous Product Management ('CPM') of the primarily RFR-linked lending products, used in term and revolving credit facilities;
Partner management, across all aspects of the role, considering product and proposition management from a commercial (Coverage), Risk, Credit, Regulatory, Operational and Conduct perspective to ensure our products are appropriate for clients;
Contributing to our team's involvement in the development and maintenance of the Green and Sustainability linked propositions – developing the frameworks, assisting with the launch of new propositions, and ensuring the associated risks are managed appropriately; and
Engagement in multiple, often transformational, projects, which may include: strategic growth, investment in the Lending E2E journey, IBOR transition (non-GBP transition is yet to complete), regulatory alignment and product improvements.
