Following are the responsibilities of the Product Developer:

  • Creating tech packs for the design team. To ensure smooth product development, pay close attention to detail when developing these packs.
  • Communicate and source materials with different factories to find the most suitable materials.
  • Working with manufacturers involves monitoring supplier performance and delivery schedules, negotiating prices, analyzing costs, coordinating with designers to improve designs, managing prototyping and sampling, while maintaining design and quality.
  • Engage in frequent meetings and presentations with the design team, providing insightful feedback and ideas or solutions to ensure the project runs smoothly.
  • Make sure you stay up-to-date by conducting seasonal research on fabrics and trends. Monitor current sales and keep an eye on bestsellers as part of your research so that you can make informed decisions when developing products.
  • As the product developer, you oversee the entire process from start to finish. Ensure deadlines are met and maintain positive relationships with everyone in the chain.

  • It is important to know the market, trends and consumers when developing your technical packs, so you can make informed decisions.
  • Time management is key, as you need to ensure product collections are delivered on time. Make sure that everyone involved in the process follows the deadlines that have been set for them at each stage of the process.

To share important information effectively and clearly across the production process, you need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Managing and directing development requires you to solve problems efficiently and independently, while providing a positive outlook to all the teams involved. An excellent understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office is required.

  • Commercial awareness and strong sales skills.

We look forward to hearing from you!
