ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Data Specialist you will collaborate with the Functional Manager - Operations to deliver our product ambitions and to shape our Beyond100 strategy.
This role will support the Body & Trim department to ensure all B releases are completed accurately and on time and create/ audit Structure Release Documents prior to submission to the Bill of Materials Team.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Creation of B & K release KVS Compilers
- Reviewing & checking drawings in KVS to ensure that release information is correct
- Raise Aekos/ ECR’s/ KV Aekos and COPB’s, creating parts lists and checking and releasing drawings where appropriate
- Maintain Body & Trim Change Trackers and Present in Tech Reviews
- Be aware of Project timing, Colour, K Release and vehicle derivatives, to be able to answer questions and support the Body & Trim team
- Liaison between the Bill of Materials team and Body & Trim Team
- Monitor and respond to Bentley and Group changes in the Avon postboxes, reviewing responses with the Body & Trim team
The successful candidate will be in an engineering role ideally within the automotive industry with knowledge of interior/exterior vehicle parts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Bentley systems and processes would be advantageous (AVON, KVS,TI-REX & TI-Syncro)
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Need to have an aptitude for detail
- Proven self-starter and able to work independently
- Communicates effectively at all levels and able to progress, challenge and resolve issues
- Able to prioritise tasks and have good time management skills
