We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product and Proposition Manager to join Santander’s Trade and Supplier Finance team.
You'll be joining a team of Product and Proposition Managers to help develop and manage a fully effective and ever improving Trade and Supplier Finance solution, to meet the needs of our customers.
Your role will be to define the Product vision and strategy for the Trade and Supplier Finance solutions and align them to the International and Transaction Banking and wider Corporate and Commercial Banking strategy, through the development of the end-to-end product lifecycle.
The difference you’ll make.
Managing the Product roadmap, pricing, packaging, and documentation of existing and new products.
Creating robust business cases through Product governance to seek funding to support development and execution of the Product roadmap.
Identifying potential risks to Trade and Supplier Finance products and actioning recommendations via process and procedures through Credit, system analysis/use and customer relationships.
Building and owning pricing models and implementing best-practice pricing analytics, alongside delivering Trade and Supplier Finance’s income budget.
Developing insightful analysis of the competition and identify ways to compete and win in the market.
Developing and facilitating effective business relationships to enable optimal personal and business effectiveness.
What you’ll bring.
Strong knowledge and experience with a proven track record in Product Management and experience in Trade and Supplier Finance products.
Experience in turning strategic concepts into defined business outcomes within the banking sector.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience in business case development - ability to develop business cases and pricing proposals, presenting a clear proposition and financial benefits.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to innovate and find creative solutions and experience in turning strategic concepts into defined business outcomes.
Resourceful, resilient, creative, and collaborative.
Understanding of how all Trade and Supplier Finance products interrelate with different customer needs.
What else you need to know.
We have a permanent and 12-month FTC opportunity.
Both opportunities are based in either our Ludgate Hill or Milton Keynes office, with the expectation of 2-3 days per week office attendance.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
