Job Introduction

This critical role sits within the Assurance Team in Procurement Operations in the Route Services Commercial & Procurement (C&P) function. You will be helping to control and implement risk and assurance activities for the Commercial & Procurement (C&P) function including Second Line of Defence activities across the devolved regional C&P Directorates.

This will mean overseeing a wide variety of large procurement events and post contract activities to ensure we mitigate our risks and provide value for money for our passengers and freight users. You will be rewarded with a sense of influencing genuine change.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in sourcing and post contract activities within a regulated environment, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, a desire to continue to learn and develop, excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and understanding of the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.
