Procurement at Rolls-Royce is truly international. Whether it be Direct product procurement or Indirect Procurement and Infrastructure projects, working together in local and global teams, we develop strategies and deliver cost-competitive supply chain solutions across all our sectors. Along with eliminating waste and developing breakthrough technologies, we also manage and reduce costs throughout the product lifecycle.
Our Procurement Team plays a key role in developing the supply chain strategies required to meet these challenges and are now looking for new talent to support us to enable our supply chain to deliver through Collaborative working, to ensure our programme and business needs are secured
You will be directly involved in an extremely important high profile strategic programme of national interest to keep Britain safe that is one of the most challenging engineering and supply chain projects in the world. What you’ll be doing:
You will select and manage the Rolls-Royce global supply chain that will deliver the most efficient and cost effective service

Develop and implement global external supplier and commodity strategies which will drive sustainable improvements in quality, cost and delivery.

Responsible for senior relationship management and business development of suppliers within their category area or business project to which you are assigned.

Establish the commercial framework in which the suppliers shall operate, ensuring cost competitiveness and value improvement is achieved.

You will possess strong Project Management skills and experience gained in a Procurement or Supply Chain Management environment that coupled with your broad business management skills provide the potential for future General Management opportunities.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
