Applicant must be prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

The responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records. To be successful as a procurement officer you should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends. Applicant must provide 02 reference and one must be from previous employer

Responsibilities

· Take all steps to ensure transactions are processed accurately and securely

· Daily clients returns/exchanges

· Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge

· Manage the end of day cashing up process and ensure the till transactions reconcile

· Report any errors of discrepancies to a member of management immediately

· Treat all customer data with the upmost confidentiality and sensitivity

· Ensure all clients receive the highest standards of customer service

· Attend team meetings and make a positive contribution to discussion

· Support where required in supporting the team

· Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Management Team

Salary: £25,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
