What will you do?
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of procurement strategies at local and regional level for a portfolio of goods and services in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities.
· Take a lead role with stakeholders (functional, procurement and supplier), defines, and implements effective procurement strategies to deliver a programme of transformation, risk mitigation and obtaining buy-in at each step of the process
· Ensure value for money by constantly challenging the balance between cost and service
· Share best practices and learning across categories, geographies, and teams
· Lead an appropriate sourcing process (including planning, defining business needs, assessing supply market, defining strategy, execution, supplier selection and contracting) that delivers the right level of service and commercial outcomes
· Support the business in ensuring suppliers priorities and capacities are aligned, identify options, risk, and mitigation
· Secure formal stakeholder approvals for supplier selection recommendations as required
· Leverage changes in the supply market and demand conditions to deliver innovation services and commercial solutions
· Oversee contacts to ensure all obligations are fulfilled, risks are mitigated and contracts remain valid throughout their lifecycle

Key Skills & Attributes;
- Educated to degree level or pervious experience working within procurement
- Expertise in each aspect of the procurement lifecycle
- Professional procurement best practices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000.00 per year
