Job description
The Role
Supporting the procurement team on the following initial transactional activities:
- Co-ordinating and pulling together NPD brief responses from suppliers, co-ordinating the quarterly business review meetings, assisting in pulling together the BRM (business review meeting) slides, pricing form support (NIC/NRMF)
- Supplier Set Up/Reactivation
- Creating and owning the contract and risk management tools
- Maintaining records for environmental returns
- Coordinating the procurement input into the forecast/budget tool
- Tracking contracted volumes of key materials
- Approval of invoice pricing queries against our approved pricing lists
- Proactively reducing payment problems, working with suppliers and finance
- Maintaining the procurement pricing data to enable easy access by stakeholders.
- Work to streamline the initial activities; when this is done to work with the Managers to identify ways to provide added value Analytical support.
What you will need for the role / what it will take
- Strong Administrative experience about to cope and support multiple projects
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Experience of working in a project support capacity
- Able to travel to sites to provide procurement support
