The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust are passionate about protecting nature and wildlife across our County, but we need help to make sure our people are ready to respond when nature calls!
We are looking for a dedicated HR Officer to support our small, but mighty team to drive best practice whilst providing a proactive and engaging HR support service to the Trust and its subsidiaries. You will be supporting the Senior HR Officer with a wide range of administration, recruitment and advisory responsibilities.
Like many HR jobs, no two days are ever the same, but responsibilities would include:
- Assist with internal and external HR related enquiries and requests
- Support the implementation of HR policies
- Ensure HR administration is up to date
- Assisting with absence management and employee relations
- Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process
- Assist and support in HR projects and provide administrative support
- Create and maintain regular reports on HR metrics
- Being a great team player who wants to develop themselves.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has a passion for growing their HR career through exposure to new and exciting challenges
- Holds previous experience of HR administration
- Is a confident communicator
- Holds a CIPD qualification or related qualification

The Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity run by local people for the benefit of local wildlife, with nature reserves across the county - part of a UK network of 46 local Wildlife Trusts working to protect wildlife.
We are supportive of hybrid working with a flexible and friendly team. There will be travel required to our other sites and reserves in the county.
Salary
The role is part time which equates to £14,882.94pa (full time equivalent salary of £24,804.89pa).
Contract
This is a permanent, part time (22.5 hours per week) contract. We can be flexible with your weekly working pattern to fit your needs and the needs of the business.
