Junior Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator

As a Junior Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Assistant in implementing innovative marketing strategies.
Your exceptional design skills will bring our brand to life, captivating our audience across various social media platforms and enhancing our online presence.

Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday, with overtime for events when needed
Location: Mayfair, London
Responsibilities:
Social Content
· Create and curate a monthly social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok in line with the Hirsh marketing calendar.
· Building and owning our TikTok and Instagram profile with a unique creative strategy
· Build and develop the brand visual direction
· Showcase examples of good creatives
Print and Digital Ads
· Creating assets for print and digital adverts when needed
· Brainstorm, develop and implement new ideas
Photography
· Liaise with our external approved photographers to book photoshoots for new pieces – from packshots, to still life and model shots.
· Take and edit photos and videos for our social media channels.
Newsletters
· Create graphics for the Hirsh newsletter
· Improving existing material and optimising creatives
Website
· Supporting the design of new website developments and banner creation
· Playing an active role in the development of project workflow, from scoping user journeys to creating mock-ups of new page layouts
PR
· Assisting with PR requests from high-res imagery and product information – also known as ‘credits’ and responding in a timely manner to these time-sensitive requests.
· Keeping an accurate digital archive of all Hirsh press coverage and sending a monthly updated report to the Hirsh team
Visual Merchandising
· Take ownership of the Hirsh visual merchandising calendar
· Design and create the print assets used for visual merchandising for the boutique – including liaising with suppliers
Marketing Collateral / Events/ Other
· Assisting the Marketing Manager and supporting with marketing activities
· Event support – as we are a small team, you may be required to help support with event organisation and set-up/ working at the occasional event
· Supporting the retail or atelier team with all visual assets required for customer projects
· Keeping on top of new trends in design and conducting regular competitor research, presenting learnings and opportunities to the wider team.
· Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s photography and creative asset database
The candidate
· Indesign, photoshop and illustrator skills vital
· Photo and video editing skills
· Comfortable liaising with suppliers
· Social Media content creation and curation vital
· Copywriting skills
· Excellent communication
· Fluent English language speaker and writer
· An understanding of the luxury industry
· Creative thinking
· Excellent time management and can work to deadlines
· Strong organisational skills
· Good teamwork
· Proficient with Microsoft office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Bonus skills
· Premier pro proficient or similar video editing software
· Procreate proficient
· Hand-drawing and illustration skills
· Experience using Mailchimp
