We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our very successful company as a Procurement Assistant focusing on Food & Beverage. This role is based at our office in Hale WA15 8RE. The key objective of the Procurement Assistant is to assist the Procurement manager regarding all product needs in our 62 hotels and 6 holiday parks across the group.
This position is available on a full-time basis, working 40 hours a week.
As the Procurement Assistant, your duties will include
- Sourcing Materials for projects in a timely and efficient manner
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure we benefit from the best prices
- Liaising with site teams and hotel management to ensure smooth and efficient implementation
- Finding Cost-effective solutions to a variety of needs and requests
- Providing central support helping to satisfy all procurement related queries raised by our hotels and parks
- Analysing spend data and buying habits covering a wide range of procurement categories
- General purchasing administration
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a purchasing role preferably working in a hospitality environment. You will have great organisational skills, the ability to negotiate with suppliers, excellent IT skills, as well as data entry and communication skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlines.
